We believe the next generation of products should advance the health of people and the planet. And we're creating the molecules to make it happen.

Evolved By Nature Newsletter

May 03, 2021

The last edition of the newsletter offers our age-old point of view and ways to stay connected.

We create healthier chemistry between people, the things they love, and the planet. We also create this bi-weekly newsletter — curated with interesting and inspiring stories relevant to anyone interested in making our industries and our economies more bioharmonious.

Consumers have a relationship with their clothes, personal care products, and just about everything they buy. This relationship also comes with baggage: the chemicals used to make them. Whether undisclosed or harmful to human health and the planet, petrochemicals and other harmful toxicants must be replaced with naturally sourced, safer alternatives to achieve a truly circular and sustainable economy. If you’ve been following our newsletter, you may have noticed this mission of replacing harmful toxicants industry-wide is central to our business. We’ve shared many stories on what chemicals are harmful (and unregulated), why they’re bad, and what consumers can do to avoid potential harm to human health. And don’t forget their damage to the planet. Sustainability and human health are inextricably linked. Therefore “going green” cannot be just a trend but must be a continual practice of self-awareness to promote health and well-being everywhere. We leave you here with some recent articles to look out for as a sustainable consumer.

  • Vogue: 10 Sustainability Terms You Need to Know for Earth Day and Beyond
  • Time: The Case for Abandoning 'Corporate Responsibility' When We Judge Company Practices
  • Interesting Engineering: A Complete History of Toxic Cosmetics
  • Apartment Therapy: Cleaning Label Glossary: What the Buzzwords Really Mean
  • Better Marketing: The Promise of Green

It has been a year of telling our sustainability story through social media, this newsletter, and beyond. We’ve been proud to engage in conversation across many communities online by sharing exciting and inspiring stories relevant to anyone interested in making our industries and our economies more bioharmonious. All things must evolve, however. And after a year of increasing our readership through email, we’re thinking up different ways to share our philosophy and practice. Part of this rethinking means we will be discontinuing our bi-weekly newsletter in its current form. This is not the end of sharing our story and thought-provoking articles with our readership, though – if you want to be updated on cool content and savvy sustainability POVs, just follow our social media channels and website below.
